Summertime!

Summer is officially here! Georgia's *actual* 5th Birthday kicked off the Memorial Day weekend. Her very last birthday surprise flew into town Friday afternoon and was Soleil! Soleil is Scott's niece who is about 2 weeks younger than Georgia- could it be more perfect? She and his sister flew in, then his sister flew back out the next morning for a weekend get-away with her husband while we were able to spend the entire weekend with Soleil and Georgia. Georgia was SOOO excited!

We started off at our home away from home- City Centre. We ate dinner and let the kids hang out in the courtyard while the band played.

Saturday we packed up and were off to Schittlerbahn in Galveston. I was a little apprehensive on going and was not sure what they would have to offer children the girl's ages but I was highly impressed! It was awesome- the girls, Scott, everyone loved it! We want to get a season pass to be able to go all summer long!

We left Schittlerbahn with two very exhausted little girls and headed to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. The girls passed out on the way home but were wide awake and ready to swim in the pool by the time we were back.

Sunday found us at church in the morning, then off to City Centre again for brunch and finally to the airport to meet Soleil's parents and wish them well on their way back home.

It was a super busy weekend but so much fun! Next up on our calendar is a trip to Destin with the Bungo's- I know Georgia and Brock are going to have a blast! I really want to try to go to the Hill Country Hyatt or the Lost Pines Resort at some point this summer and of course back to Schitterbahn! I am trying to fit everything into our schedule so we will see! =)
